North Carolina Lawyers for Entrepreneurs Assistance Program has substantial resources for low wealth-entrepreneurs, including frequent free corporate legal clinics in communities all over the state and matching up qualifying clients with free attorneys.

Small Business and Technology Development Centers exist on many state college campuses and provide management counseling and educational services to small and mid-sized businesses. Most services are free of charge, and all are confidential. SBTDC has supported local businesses and helped to create local jobs since 1984.
