With the recent enactment of Connecticut’s Paid Family and Medical Leave (CTPFML) law, the availability of paid leave, coupled with a vast expansion of covered employers, covered employees, and reasons for leave, will bring a major shift in leave management in Connecticut. While most CTPFML provisions will not go into effect until January 2021 and 2022, employers are asking what to expect and how to prepare.
