IBM may earn $10B from smart-building software; ACEE foresees $250B in building energy upgrades Reuters - Mar 22

IBM estimates $10B in profits from its Smarter Buildings line by 2015. ACEEE predicts $250B in building efficiency upgrades by 2020. Other major players in the green software market include Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Schneider Electric and Cisco. IBM bought Tririga, a developer of energy management software, as part of IBM’s Smarter Buildings line.
