Practice/Organization Description

David Wilson II practices in the area of business and construction litigation in both Texas and Nevada. He is a shareholder in the law firm MehaffyWeber. David has tried well over 100 cases as first chair lawyer in both civil and criminal cases. He has also served as lead counsel in over 70 appellate cases, including at the Texas Supreme Court. He has been named one of Houston's Top Lawyers by H Texas Magazine, and been named to Who's Who in American Law. He has been listed as a Texas Super Lawyer in Texas Monthly Magazine since 2011. He served for over a decade as an adjunct professor in courtroom advocacy at South Texas College of Law, and served as a guest lecturer in Advanced Torts at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He is past chair of the DRI Construction Law Committee, as well as a past chair of the Appellate Advocacy Committee of the American Bar Association Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. He currently serves as Editor of the Construction Law Newsletter of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel.
