Practice/Organization Description

The Norwood, Massachusetts Law Offices of Cynthia E. MacCausland provide high quality legal services in the areas of Family Law, Child Welfare, Criminal, Bankruptcy and Consumer Law by combining legal expertise and compassion with attention to prompt client service. Cynthia represents and supports active duty members of the military, veterans of recent wars and their respective family members in all areas of her legal practice and provides à la Carte representation under the Limited Assistance Representation (LAR) model.

Cynthia employs a client centered approach, which appreciates the client as an individual and recognizes the importance of listening to and understanding the client’s goals, challenges and expectations. The approach emphasizes a lawyer-client relationship built on trust and encourages consistent and ongoing communication from commencement through resolution. She employs a similar method when engaging with opposing counsel and parties. While recognizing that litigation often results from a fundamental conflict, Cynthia seeks to foster positive and productive discussion and negotiation conducive to compromise and agreement.
