Called to the Bar in 1975 with Honours; has appeared in all Ontario Courts, Federal Court of Canada and Supreme Court of Canada, with leading cases reported in bankruptcy, business, commercial landlord and tenant and corporate (oppression remedy) cases. Expertise in simple and complex commercial, com¬pe¬tition, construction, corporate and IT litigation. Recently counsel to four other firms of lawyers, together with own firm, acting for nine Plaintiffs, in multi-million dollar Dominion Concrete construction and product liability litigation. In the final resolution, acting for all 19 Plaintiffs. Has run litiga¬tion teams in five major com¬pe¬ti¬tion law cases, including two with over 1 million docu¬ments each. Has acted across Ontario in oppression remedy and construction law cases.

Present member of E-Discovery Implementation Committee and its Institute planning sub-committee. Current Member of OBA Council and OBA Audit Committee. Has attended Provincial, National and International meetings dealing with Technology and the Courts. Invited to address the Australian Institute of Judicial Administration in Sydney, NSW, October, 2002, speaking on Ontario’s Integrated Justice Project (“IJP,” the world’s largest attempted integration of civil, criminal and family law courts and administration). Chair and Member of numerous Technology and Law committees, including being the Bar Chair of the IJP Courts Steering Committee, CSALT and many others in between.
