Libya -

On June 12th, United Nations (U.N.) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon emphasized the importance of the peaceful and timely holding of the Libyan legislative elections scheduled for the 25th of June. The U.N. Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) has been providing technical assistance for the elections and the reforming of State institutions.
