AIFMD Goes Live

After a one-year transitional period, the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) officially went into effect on July 22, 2014.  This means that both EU managers managing funds and non-EU managers marketing funds to EU investors must comply with the terms of this far-reaching directive.
