Report & proposal: Substitute amendment to the State Health Plan approved by the Hospital Committee to Section 410-2-3-.03 Cardiac Services. Proposed amendment would allow hospitals without onsite open heart surgery to apply to the CON Review Board for approval to provide elective interventional catheterization procedures, subject to certain enumerated criteria.
Action taken: Substitute amendment was approved for publication, and public hearing will be held at next SHCC meeting in early 2013...
