Form 19, Employer’s Report of Injury to the NCIC (11 NCAC 23A .0104)

Effective today, December 1, 2020, defendants are now required to file a Form 19 with the Industrial Commission when the injury causes the employee to be absent from work for more than one day or when the charges for medical compensation exceed $4,000.00.  11 NCAC 23A .0104 has been amended to increase the medical charge threshold from $2,000.00 to $4,000.00.

Form 26A, Employer’s Admission of Employee’s Right to Permanent Partial Disability (11 NCAC 23L .0103)

In addition, per 11 NCAC 23L .0103, if the employee was released with permanent restrictions and has returned to work for the employer of injury, the parties are required to submit a job description to the Industrial Commission with the Form 26A for review and approval of a permanent partial disability rating.
