App data is the newest frontier in e-discovery. Questions abound regarding how to find and collect app data needed for investigations and litigation, how to make it humanly searchable, and how to present it effectively throughout the life of a lawsuit or investigation. In Part 1, we jump to the end: recommendations and war stories about analyzing app data and presenting it to factfinders. In Part 2, we will move to the beginning: finding, collecting, processing and hosting the data.
