On October 4th, the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs completed its review of OSHA’s “walking surfaces” rule.  The contents of the rule are unknown but will include scaffolding, hand rail, and walking surface protections intended to reduce incidents of slips, trips, and falls in the workplace.  OSHA estimates the rule will cover more than 112 million employees at 6.7 million work sites.
