Last Thursday, September 18th, the U.S. Senate passed bipartisan legislation intended to lay the groundwork for comprehensive post-acute care reform. The Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation Act of 2014 (IMPACT Act), had already passed the House on September 16, 2014 which means the President could sign the bill into law early this week.
