Yes, Workers’ Compensation “reform” is still on the minds of the Illinois legislators. This morning the following email alert from the Illinois Trial Lawyers was in my mailbox:
Strong rumor that Democratic leadership may move WC Legislation as early as tomorrow.
As we understand it, there is bad language on “Choice” (no employee choice outside of employer designated network-back door causation denial), “Utilization Review”, “AMA Guides” and “Carpal Tunnel”.
