If you were granted Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (“DACA”) status by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement prior to August 15, 2012, or if you are a DACA recipient with an employment authorization document that will expire in the next 120 days, USCIS has announced that you must apply for renewal of your DACA status to avoid any lapse in your employment authorization or accrual of unlawful presence in the United States.
