Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (“JOBS Act”) Brings Venture Capital Investment to the Masses


Today, President Obama is scheduled to sign into law the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act (the “JOBS Act”), which will make it easier for many startups and small companies to raise capital from investors through what is referred to as “crowdfunding”. The JOBS Act allows qualifying companies to raise up to $1 million annually from investors using any medium of advertisement, including the Internet.
