Tim Irvine, Executive Director for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (“TDHCA”), has announced his retirement from state service effective November 30, 2018.  Tim served in the position for seven years, which we believe is the longest tenure of any executive director for this agency.  Prior to serving as the Executive Director, he was TDHCA’s General Counsel and headed TDHCA’s Manufactured Housing Division.  Tim’s prior public work included serving as an attorney for the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, General Counsel for the Texas Savings and Loan Department, Administrator of the Texas Real Estate Commission and Commissioner of the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board.  Tim is also a former partner of our Firm, and we warmly congratulate him on his many years of service.
