The National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety & Health (“NACOSH”) is holding a meeting of its OSH Professionals Pipeline Work Group on November 15, 2016. The Pipeline Work Group is seeking recommendations on developing the next generation of occupational safety & health professionals. The purpose of the meeting is to allow the Professionals Pipeline Work Group to hear from organizations representing OSH professionals as well as other interested parties and stakeholders, and so the meeting is open to the public. The Pipeline Work Group is looking for insight on initiatives, best practices, and model programs for professionals. Meetings have previously been held on September 20 and October 18, and the third meeting on November 15 will take place at the U.S. Department of Labor offices in Washington, DC. For more information, see the Department of Labor’s Trade Release on the upcoming meeting.
