The new overtime rule, which the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) announced on September 24, 2019, was published in the Federal Register on Friday, September 27, 2019. The DOL’s Wage and Hour Division (WHD) linked to the Federal Register on its new overtime portal, which includes additional resources such as:

• a fact sheet title “Final Rule to Update the Regulations Defining and Delimiting the Exemptions for Executive, Administrative, and Professional Employees”;
• answers to frequently asked questions on the new rule;
• a small entity compliance guide; and

an overtime pay overview, which includes links to further resources such as general guidance, fact sheets, e-tools, posters, and more.
