코비드 팬데믹의 영향으로 인해, 제 1차 MWE 한국 세미나 시리즈는 온라인 웨비나 방식으로 변경되었습니다. 해당 시리즈는 2021년 9월 8일에서부터 28일까지 4회에 걸쳐 진행되며, 현재 한국 기업들이 대면 중인 최신 법리적 현안들에 대한 안내가 이루어질 예정이니, 고객분들의 많은 참여 부탁드립니다.
당 세미나 시리즈는 국제 합병 인수, 현 미 정부의 무역 정책, 유럽 연합과 미국 내에서의 반 독점 및 지식재산권 정책과 관련 사례의 최신 경향 등을 다루고 있으며, 특히 격동하는 글로벌 산업계에서 한국 기업들의 해당 사안들의 대한 이해 증진을 목적으로 하고 있습니다.
당 세미나는 미국 국제무역위원회 전 국장을 역임한 딘 핀커트 씨, 미 법무부 반독점 부서 전 공판 변호사를 역임한 저스틴 머피 씨, 그 외 MWE 파리, 브뤼셀, 뮌헨, 뉴욕, 시카고, 워싱턴 DC 사무소 소속 파트너 급 변호사들을 패널리스트로 진행되오니 참고하여 주시기 바랍니다.
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, our first Korea Webinar Series will be held as a virtual series, with four sessions taking place between September 8 – September 28, 2021. Though we cannot see you in person, we did not want to miss the opportunity to connect with you on the latest legal topics affecting Korean companies.
The virtual event series will explore global mergers and acquisitions, US trade policy, EU and US antitrust developments and IP-related topics with a significant focus on what Korean companies need to know in this ever-changing business world.
Our McDermott panelists include Dean Pinkert, a former commissioner of the US International Trade Commission and Justin Murphy, a former trial attorney for the Department of Justice (DOJ) Criminal Antitrust Division, and other partners from our Paris, Brussels, Munich, New York, Chicago, and Washington, DC offices.
