Pennsylvania and New Jersey Release 2022 Average Weekly Wage Rates

New Jersey and Pennsylvania have released 2022 workers' compensation temporary total disability benefit rates based on the statewide average weekly wage.

New Jersey 

The New Jersey Department of Labor has released the New Jersey Workers’ Compensation Rate Schedule. For 2022, the maximum temporary total disability rate has been raised to $1,065, and the minimum rate increases to $284. View the full rate chart here.

Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry has determined the statewide average weekly wage for 2022 will be $1,205.00. This equals $62,660 (tax free) total indemnity benefits for the highest wage earners in Pennsylvania if injured in 2022. Under the PA Workers’ Compensation Act, the statewide average weekly wage represents the maximum workers’ compensation rate which can be received by an injured worker in Pennsylvania.
