The Pennsylvania Department of Health announced this afternoon the permits being awarded to the first 12 grower/processors for medical marijuana in the Commonwealth.  As if announcing the 12 of the 177 applicants was not drama enough, the live video feed crashed before John Collins, the director of the medical marijuana program could make the announcement.

Luckily, the Department of Health also released the permits and scoring rubric for the applicants on its website.  The grantees for the Grower/Processor permits can be found here, and the scoring rubric can be found here.

Any applicant not granted a permit has 10 days from today to appeal.
