The Selective Service System (the “System”) of the United States has made it clear that any man “ages 18 through 25 and living in the U.S.” must register with the System for military service in the event of a draft.
“You want to protect yourself for future U.S. citizenship and other government benefits and programs by registering,” the System announced on its Website, assuring those with deportation concerns that the System “does not collect any information which would indicate whether or not you are undocumented.”
