States and Feds Crack Down on Immigration “Consultants”


This year, the U.S. government has made good on its promise to crack down on immigration “consultants” who are just fraudulently peddling bad advice on ways to enter the country in supposed compliance with law.

For example, just a few months ago, the feds indicted a California immigration consultant and 13 associates who were obtaining payments of thousands of dollars from each of their “clients” in Russia and Eastern European countries to facilitate their immigration into this country.
