UK Conduct Regulator Appoints Interim Chairs

The U.K. Financial Conduct Authority has appointed Richard Lloyd OBE as its interim Chair of the FCA. He will assume the position on June 1, 2022 and will continue until a permanent successor for former Chair Charles Randell takes up the position.

The FCA has also appointed Aidene Walsh as interim Chair of the Payment Systems Regulator, a new position which has been split out from the role of the FCA Chair. Ms Walsh will take up the position on April 1, 2022 and will also continue until a permanent Chair is found.

Stephen Braviner Roman, General Counsel of the FCA, has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the FCA.
