The VETS-4212 is an annual report required under the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) by the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS). All nonexempt Federal contractors and subcontractors with $100,000 or more in Federal contracts need to prepare a VETS-4212 Report. The annual VETS-4212 Report filing deadline is September 30th each year.

The U.S. Department of Labor issued a notice this week in order to accommodate the needs of those impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma, that Federal contractors who file their VETS-4212 Report by November 15, 2017 will not be cited for failure to file a timely Report or failure to comply with Federal regulations. This forty-five (45) day extension applies to all Federal contractors.
