The 2022 Carlton Fields Class Action Survey reveals that companies with class actions are seeing increases in the number of class actions they face at a given time. The current portfolio reveals the highest number of both ongoing matters and total matters since the inception of this survey 11 years ago. Class action defense spending is expected to be one of the fastest-growing areas of legal spending, crossing the $3 billion threshold for the first time in 2021.

This webinar will identify and discuss best practices in reducing cost and managing risk in class action litigation. Program panelists also will review the type and frequency of class actions reported in the survey, including how COVID-19 has affected the landscape of class action litigation. They will summarize key recent developments in the law and identify the most successful defenses to class certification as reported by corporate counsel at more than 400 companies.

The webinar is appropriate for in-house counsel and executives with responsibility for class action litigation and risk management, and relevant for companies across a spectrum of industries.

All registered attendees will receive an electronic copy of the 2022 Carlton Fields Class Action Survey.

Carlton Fields will seek CLE credit in Florida and Georgia.
