The California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) of 2020 is officially starting enforcement on March 29, 2024, meaning California’s state attorney general, district attorneys, and the California Privacy Protection Agency may enforce the CPRA.
And while that might not seem too concerning, consider what happened when the CCPA’s enforcement kicked off: Sephora received a whopping $1.2 million fine.
