Andy Teichholz is the Global Industry Strategist for Compliance & Legal at OpenText. He is responsible for developing the cross-portfolio strategy relating to OpenText’s compliance and legal solutions. Andy has over 20 years of experience as a litigator, in-house counsel, consultant and technology provider. He has served as a trusted advisor to customers by leveraging his business acumen, industry experience, and technical knowledge to advise on business process improvements and risk mitigation strategies. He has implemented technology solutions related to Data Privacy, eDiscovery, Information Governance, and Records Management. As a professional consultant, Andy led numerous high-profile engagements including managing all phases of eDiscovery for complex litigation and regulatory investigations.
Earlier in his career, Andy engaged in the practice of law as a general counsel for a business incubator and, prior to that, as a litigation attorney at a major New York law firm. Andy holds an A.B., with distinction, from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he served as Articles Editor for the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. In his free time, he is an avid sports fan, bourbon aficionado, and amateur U.S. Civil War historian. Andy resides in his beloved New York City with his wife Risa and son Chase.
