Trish Carreiro is an experienced cybersecurity and privacy litigator who advises clients on privacy compliance and data breach response. She is certified with the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as both a certified information privacy professional (CIPP/US) and certified information privacy manager (CIPM). Trish’s experience with emerging technologies has developed into a niche practice in the life insurance industry. She has helped numerous life insurers navigate the morass of state and federal privacy laws to market their products in new and innovative ways, streamline their privacy compliance, adjust to changing laws, digitize their application process, increase consumer engagement, and apply new technologies and data to underwrite their risk. From drafting the necessary notices and consents, to developing the process for presenting and recording authorizations, Trish has used her expertise to help propel the insurance industry forward.

Tino Lisella

Tino Lisella’s practice focuses on securities, tax, and white collar litigation. He represents individuals and entities in complex securities matters and government investigations, as well as regulatory investigations and enforcement. As a former federal prosecutor and then Financial Industry Regulatory Authority enforcement director, Tino has firsthand knowledge of the boots-on-the-ground strategies and priorities prosecutors and FINRA enforcement attorneys use to build their cases and the most effective strategies to defend against them. Prior to entering private practice, Tino spent nearly a decade at the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division, and more than five years in FINRA’s enforcement department.

Michael Yaeger's practice focuses on government investigations, white collar defense, cybersecurity, and related compliance. His combination of government and private sector experience has given him deep experience managing risks that cross the boundaries between criminal, regulatory, and civil litigation, including appeals. Michael's experience includes matters involving alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, securities fraud, cybercrime, accounting fraud, tax fraud, investment adviser fraud, money laundering, health care fraud, the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and the False Claims Act. Michael also advises clients on cybersecurity compliance (including data incident response, policy drafting, and commercial advice), OFAC compliance, FCPA compliance, and general subpoena and law enforcement compliance, and has assisted blockchain-based businesses in obtaining bit licenses from the New York DFS.
