This presentation will go beyond basic interpretations of contractual issues such as force majeure clauses or determinations of what constitutes a material adverse change to provide tips and strategies for assessing risk related to contractual renegotiations or exits. Our analysis will be applicable to contracting parties across industries but will be particularly pertinent to energy companies with minimum volume commitments, E&P companies with numerous contracts related to a major project, and parties to incomplete mergers or acquisitions.
