Expected Executive Action on Immigration by President Obama and Employment Authorization

President Obama is expected to undertake an executive action on immigration near the end of the summer. While the details of any executive action are unknown, there is growing belief that any forthcoming executive action by President Obama will have a component authorizing employment authorization to potentially millions of qualified foreign citizens.

Based on the above, this article details what work authorization legally consists of and some of the potentially more controversial legal issues related to greatly expanding work authorization.
