On January 22, the Antitrust Modernization Commission (the “Commission”) published its Tentative Recommendations. The Commission was created by Congress and charged with examining whether the U.S. antitrust laws should be modernized. The Commission’s final report is due in April 2007. Congress will then decide whether to enact the
Commission’s recommendations.
