West Africa Ebola Outbreak -
On October 22nd, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) released a new fact sheet on the Ebola outbreak in West Africa. The fact sheet highlighted the $344.5 million commitment from the U.S. Government for the Ebola response in West Africa and notes that the East African Community plans to send 600 health workers, including 41 doctors, to Ebola-affected counties in West Africa. Additionally, the fact sheet includes information on the current situations in Guinea, Liberia, and Sierra Leone, and provides an update on the international response effort.
