As businesses turn their attention toward when and how to reopen their workplaces, Blank Rome’s Coronavirus Task Force launched our second employer survey asking our clients about key return-to-work topics. We received responses from more than 150 clients who shared perspectives on their anticipated approaches to new, complex workplace challenges and future business outlooks. The responses came from C-Suite executives, in-house attorneys, and human resources professionals from a diverse array of businesses across various industries and geographies.

Along with the survey results, our Labor & Employment attorneys compared the data to our March 2020 survey results to identify potential emerging trends in pandemic management planning, radical changes to travel, employee complaints, remote work and social distancing, handling positive tests in the workplace, and managing paid time off. They also provided key takeaways in:

  • Return-to-Work plan development
  • New workplace safety protocols
  • Labor-related cost savings
  • Mitigation measures
  • Economic outlooks
  • Company morale and unity actions
  • Lessons learned

We found the results to be enlightening, and we hope you do too.
