BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) reached a settlement with Army Sustainment, LLC, a government contractor providing aviation maintenance support.

In 2020, the EEOC filed suit in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission v. Army Sustainment, LLC (formerly known as L-3 Army Sustainment, LLC f/k/a Army Fleet Support, LLC), Civil Action No. 1:20-cv-00234-RAH-CWB) and alleged that the company violated the Americans with Disabilities Act. In the settlement, the company does not admit to liability.

The EEOC's Birmingham District Office has jurisdiction over Alabama, Mississippi (except 17 northern counties) and the Florida Panhandle.
