EEOC Announces Registration Now Open for Training Courses

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the federal agency responsible for enforcing laws against employment discrimination and providing outreach and education to the public announced today that its registration system for federal and private sector training courses is open.

The EEOC provides technical assistance training to both federal and private sector employers. For federal sector employees, virtual courses start on June 13, 2022. With more than 25 courses offered through September, federal sector employees have numerous options to choose from, including EEO training for new investigators and counselors, barrier analysis, anti-harassment program management, and more. These courses are designed to meet the MD-110 training requirements for EEO counselors, investigators, special emphasis program managers, and attorneys. Private sector virtual workshops begin June 28, 2022 and include such topics as pay equity, racial justice and systemic discrimination, civil rights and the pandemic, retaliation, algorithmic fairness and AI, LGBTQI+ issues, legal updates, and many more. These courses are designed for HR professionals, attorneys, supervisors and managers, and EEO professionals.
