As previously covered by the DCI Blog, the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) is working to revise the letter it uses to schedule compliance reviews of supply and service federal contractors and subcontractors. After considering public comments, OFCCP has revised its proposal.

The revised scheduling letter is available on the Office of Management and Budget ‘s (OMB) website. Comments on the revision can be submitted to OMB through May 17, 2023. Once the comment period closes, OMB will then begin its review of the proposed scheduling letter under the Paperwork Reduction Act. The new scheduling letter will not be used in audits until OMB grants its approval.

The OMB authorization for the current scheduling letter expires on April 30, 2023. While OMB is reviewing the proposed revision, it will grant extensions to the authorization for the current letter. Until OMB completes its review of OFCCP’s proposed revisions, all audits will continue to be scheduled using the current scheduling letter.

DCI is currently reviewing OFCCP’s proposal and will provide a more detailed breakdown on the DCI Blog.
