I had the pleasure of presenting at Bank Director Magazine's Inspired By Acquire or Be Acquired: What Officers and Directors Need to Know Now virtual conference, along with Rick Levin, earlier this month.

Our presentation, "Custody of Digital Assets," covered not only the custody of digital assets as a complex problem that has plagued the development of the FinTech industry, but also requirements for financial institutions providing banking services to digital asset providers. The session included overviews of distributed ledger technology, blockchain technology, digital currencies, digital assets, and wallets. It continues by focusing on recent guidance from the OCC, the SEC’s response, and updates on the state regulation of digital assets.
