Voluntary Dismissal of Kronos Hack Lawsuit: Oops, The Plaintiff Got It Wrong!

Last week, I blogged about a lawsuit where the allegations were that the Company failed to pay properly and record time properly, due to its involvement in the Kronos Hack of 2021. Well, it seems that blog post was a little late to the party. Why? It seems the Company did not get hacked in 2021 because it did not use Kronos. In other words, the plaintiff made a (gigantic) mistake. The case was entitled Jones v. C&D Security Management, Inc. and was filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Well, I am glad. My philosophy has always been I don’t care how the case gets dismissed.
