The first cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, was launched in 2009. Just ten years later more than 1600 cryptocurrencies exist. As cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology are increasingly utilized by businesses and individuals, insurance companies are beginning to offer cryptocurrency insurance. It is crucial that adjusters and insurance professionals have a basic understanding of the emerging blockchain technology, the available cryptocurrency coverages, and the unique challenges blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies present to insurers.

Please join us on March 5, 2019 for "Blockchain and Bitcoin: Insurance Implications – Webinar." This webinar is intended to give adjusters and insurance professionals a broad introduction to blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and the novel challenges and opportunities they present for insurers.
