Jeff Solomon heats, cools and provides hot water for his 5,000 sq. ft. Marblehead home for only $200 per month using R-30 closed cell foam insulation and heat pumps that rely on the stable, even temperature of the earth. Heat-pump technology has been in use for over 50 years. The EPA found heat pumps may lower energy bills by 40%. EL Insights predicted that the “green building market” will grow from $71.1 billion today to $173 billion by 2015.
