When they say that you shouldn’t sweat the small stuff, they mean that you should not focus your energy on things that don’t hold significant importance in your life. The problem is that you’re a 401(k) plan sponsor and a plan fiduciary, so you have to sweat everything and it’s the smallest of things that led to the most problems.
