World Bank – International Monetary Fund Spring Meetings On April 11th, a panel of African policy makers, entrepreneurs, and bankers gathered in Washington, DC, as part of the World Bank – International Monetary Fund (IMF) Spring Meetings to discuss ways to boost African businesses with homegrown investments. Panelists discussed the importance of creating large firms in Africa as a means for increasing employment, enhancing economic growth, and eradicating poverty.
