Senate Majority Leader Dave Senjem and Speaker of the House Kurt Zellers released the committee deadlines for the 2012 Session this week.

Friday, March 16 will be the first deadline for committees to “act favorably on bills in the house of origin”.

The second deadline is Friday, March 23 for committees to “act favorably on bills, or companions of bills, that met the first deadline in the other house”.

The third deadline is Friday, March 30 for committees to “act favorably on major appropriation and finance bills”.
