Senate Majority Leader Dave Senjem and Speaker of the House Kurt Zellers released the committee deadlines for the 2012 Session this week.

• Friday, March 16 will be the first deadline for committees to “act favorably on bills in the house of origin”.
• The second deadline is Friday, March 23 for committees to “act favorably on bills, or companions of bills, that met the first deadline in the other house”.
• The third deadline is Friday, March 30 for committees to “act favorably on major appropriation and finance bills”.
