The EHRC has published technical guidance on sexual harassment and harassment at work, while the Government Equalities Office launched a survey on people's experience of sexual harassment. The survey results will feed into future government proposals to strengthen protection against harassment.

Parental bereavement leave – Regulations published

The government has published the Parental Bereavement Leave Regulations, which will bring the new right to two weeks' leave for bereaved parents into force from 6 April 2020.

Give and take – dismissal proportionate although employee not off sick
