Amendments to the Listing Rules, which complement the Securities and Futures Commission’s (“SFC”) new regime regarding sponsors, came into effect on October 1, 2013. To complement those Listing Rule changes, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (“Exchange”) published a series of new Guidance Letters in July, and key points from these are set out below (as updated in September 2013, where applicable), with the reference numbers in italics where the subject matter concerns administrative rather than disclosure issues...
