Jury Awards Frozen Milkshake Maker $3.2 Million in Patent Damages

A Delaware jury awarded automated milkshake maker, f’real Foods, approximately $3.2 million in damages based on Hamilton Beach’s and Hershey Creamery’s infringement of patents related to milkshake blending machines.  The jury found that the appliance maker and ice cream seller owe f’real Foods $2,988,869 in lost profits damages and $245,000 in reasonable royalty damages.

This case is f'real Foods, LLC et al v. Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. et al, Case No. 1-16-cv-00041 (D. Del).
