In our recent webinar, we mentioned that the Oklahoma State Department of Health had until July 26th to make medical marijuana application requirements, instructions and certain forms available to the public. You can now find that information online at the new Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority website, omma.ok.gov. Please note that while members of your workforce can begin the application process now, they will not be able to submit their information and completed Adult Patient Physician Recommendation Forms for online processing until August 25, 2018.
From the beginning, we said that things would evolve rather quickly. As of the posting date (July 26, 2018), the OMMA website specifically notes that while information regarding applications reflects recent changes recommended by the Oklahoma Attorney General, all information is subject to change and is pending official adoption of emergency rules by the Oklahoma Board of Health and approval from the Governor.
