In this 60-minute Legal Roundtable Masterclass, we will discuss the purpose and debate the “pros and cons” and strengths and weaknesses of Functional Affirmative Action Plans (“FAAPs”) in light of recent changes of enforcement philosophies at OFCCP. Our discussion will include special considerations, too, such as how to handle a remote workforce and how to frame up and analyze statistical “Disparity Analyses” and “Adverse Impact” Analyses in a FAAP, including for remote workforces.

Speakers

	Dr. Robert B. Speakman, Jr., Ph.D Managing Director @Secretariat Economists Dr. Robert B. Speakman, Jr., Ph.D specializes in economics with an emphasis in labor economics and econometrics. Dr. Speakman is the Managing Director of Secretariat Economists in Washington D.C. and resides in Bryan, Texas. Dr. Speakman is very familiar with Affirmative Action Plans and the statistical disparity/adverse impact analyses associated with OFCCP compliance.
	Soul Cherradi Manager of HR Compliance and DE&I @BP Soul Cherradi is the Manager of HR Compliance and DE&I at BP, and a long-standing Member of DirectEmployers. He started his career as a Researcher in Social Sciences and Industrial Relations at the University of Montreal while attending graduate school. After that, he held different roles in Compliance, HR, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, Law, Compensation, Benefits, Risk Management, and DE&I Analytics for national, multinational, and global organizations. Soul Cherradi has experience defending a large number of OFCCP audits and EEOC charges and currently manages the company's functional affirmative action plan (FAAP).
	John C. Fox, Esq. Partner @Fox, Wang & Morgan P.C. John C. Fox, Esq, Partner Fox, Wang & Morgan P.C., created the first OFCCP Functional Affirmative Action Plan, previously served as Executive Assistant to the OFCCP Director, and helped create dozens of FAAPs over the years for clients and defend them in audits.
	Candee Chambers, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, SR. CAAP Executive Director & CEO @DirectEmployers & Recruit Rooster Candee Chambers, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, SR. CAAP, joined the association in 2013 and currently serves as the Executive Director of DirectEmployers and CEO for the organization’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Recruit Rooster. She is responsible for leading a team of over 80 people from eight departments and the continual development of the OFCCP compliance and recruitment marketing solutions for Members of the Association.
